the venue of our dreams!
Over the weekend, Eric & I travelled to Lake Rabun and found the perfect venue for our wedding. We are thrilled to be getting married in the North GA Mountains. So thrilled, in fact, that we moved the date up by about seven months and are now planning an October wedding! (yep, of THIS year!)
Here are some photos of the landscape, it’s a private estate that we’ve rented for the weekend and will serve as the venue for the rehearsal dinner, ceremony and reception. We love that there is so much raw land to work with…and even in the cold, rainy weather it was still beautiful.

Gosh how your blog has grown. It seems I looked at it only last week and you’ve added so much to it since then. Love the wedding site and the last dress on your post above (sleeveless) is my fav. Sorry to hear about your Grandmother, too. She is a guardian angel now. Great blog!
